MOVING A MOUNTAIN

Documentary

Asheer Akram is a young American sculptor, who visits Armenia for four months to make a metal sculpture to be placed in one of the biggest art museums in Yerevan by the initiative of "Art Commune" International Artist-in-Residence Program by Art and Cultural Studies Laboratory, Armenia. This work is the embodiment of his ideas about Armenian culture and first impressions of Armenia in general. Quite a challenging task, as this is Asheer’s first visit to this country.

It’s been such a busy couple of months that the good news were left without attention, so here is a quick update; Moving a Mountain won two awards in Los Angeles New Wave International Film Festival - Best Editing Award and 2nd place in Short Documentary category.

Yes, I know we don’t put up latest news regularly, although those who follow us on Twitter and Facebook always know what’s hot in our studio life at the moment. Since we’re terribly busy this summer, but there are lots of big or small news, I’m making another “What’s Up” issue with bunch of different news.
